I apologize for the short delay, now its time to announce the winner
fist lets hear what are the judges have to say

JUDGE 1
DANG IT! this one is hard. . . hmm. . .
ok first, tonio, even though his work is just black and white it was easy enough to understand, he uses some simple panels, he told the story very well. i know its not easy to make a comic but i think the artwork could have been more cool if he added more details like back grounds and effects.
now, henry, its good because he gets to color his work, he also did a good job at delivering the story, but the only problem is some panels was hard to understand(for me) thats the problem in coloring your work, if you detailed some of the first part, you have to commit and do the same on the last parts.
soooo. . . for my final judgement(i always love to say that. hehehe) i choose ~Reizerumz as the winner of this round. it was awesome how he ended the fight, it was like a cliffhanger, hehehe. make say "what the. . .". hehehe.

JUDGE 2
Both the works of ~Reizerumz and ~Tatong are awesome, good story flow and great drawings.
I like the color scheme of ~Tatong mostly having light colored characters interacting with a dark background producing a dark but also a light atmosphere with scenes injected with good humor. I also liked how he used the setting to make the story flow plus nice actions scenes. But although his coloring is good his drawing is noticeably haphazardly done but it is understandable since he may not have much time doing the piece.
Simplicity came to the advantage of ~Reizerumz, amazing pencil work, perspectives and story flow. The only thing i noticed was on page 13 and 14 when Hudas was about to grab Tonio's head, the last panel on page 13 Hudas was already touching the hair of Tonio but on page 14 the distance between them expanded, kind of defeats the space and time element. (yun lang napansin ko hehe)

Graphically and story wise ~Reizerumz is the man.

JUDGE 3
I vote on tonio. I felt that he had the well rounded match and the ending is just fun to watch and had me really satisfied with the overall outcome. Not to down play the effort by henry, which also did quite a good job on paneling and action scenes. But Tonio won my heart through and through.

JUDGE 4
for me the winner in this one is henry's work, the storytelling is excellent plus his drawing and coloring is topnotch too.that's it.

JUDGE 5
first of all congrats to the both of you! this judgement is very hard to pull out! lets go with ~Reizerumz entry. CONSISTENCY! Rei had always been consistent on his work always awesome fight scenes, light story and weird endings... I only had one problem on his work if we are talking story wise, usually at this part of an any OC contest, the existence of the character on contest should start to thicken, I think REI should keep the readers crave by creating intriguing twists, interesting plots etc. etc. you know the drill be creative man.
on ~Tatong's side well this man had improve a lot from the previous round! with the not so shallow flow, colored pages, semi seriously drawn characters, and a pack of malboro hehe I mean pack of sense of humor, Tatongs work is loaded a effort on this one
battle sences had improve too... though effort were exerted a lot on this one i think its not enough yet, therefore I'm going to give this round to REI.. tatong just keep on improving!!

thats it the RESULT are in and now it only means that we are down to our FINAL FOUR!!

THE ROSTER FOR ROUND 3



As you notice we have an odd number and beacuse of that there will be be a 3 way battle match-up, also we only need four figthers for the next round which means on the three way battle there will be only one winner. . .

ON THE JUDGING
two judges had sit this one, only three judges had judge the battle.
I asked a person (DA member) to ranked the contestant, and here they are together with the judges comment. for those who won by default are on the later part of the rankings, and also lesser comments.

1. 3-0
JUDGEno1:
it was hard judging this figth both ~Reizerumz and ~witch-girl-pilar created good stories and great art, but I had to give it to ~Reizerumz his graphics, fighting scenes are compelling, and the dialouge has a good balance giving both humor and seriousness in the comics.
JUDGEno2:
ang hirap mamili! ;_; [pwede bang pareho sila?!??! *_*]
anyways, i like pilars comics too kaso, theres something on reizerums work that caught my attention, siguro yung effects or yung detail... saka okay yung battle scene nya, akala ko nga lang tapos na yung kwento nung nilamon sya nung isa sa ending me karugtong pa pala. hey! emo ending! xDDD. joke! x3.
to pilar, yes sharing is nice! i like that! x3. to reizerumz, nice noodlez on the ending! : D.

awesome work. the fight scene was superve. dang. love to see more from this one.

great art and story, good fighting scences, i like the ending, it shows that figthing does not just stop at beating your opponent but making friends

im satisfiend with the simplicity this one have. action scene on frame 3 on page 4 is kinda funny kasi me number yung bounce ng character. hehehe, though sana hindi no numbers motion lines are enough. so far, okay sya. oh yea! nice toning work iztekz!

nice action scenes, nice paneling too. hehehe, and a very entertaining story, makes me want to read more!

nice, even though its just black and white (toned) it got my attention. the way he do action scene is nice too. hope to see more from this one.

great grayscle art and his story has a good flow and entartaining, nahilo lang ako ng konti sa binigay na link hehe

cool work here. the coloring is nice, could use some sound effects. oh, and it could have been more entertaining if you made the fight scene longer, one hit kill made it look boring.

for his awesome graphics although medyo bitin ang story... sana mas madami pa bakbakan hehe

i like the drawing style, and the fight scene was cool too. few more practice and this guy could be the next MANGA master. hehehe.

asteeg!! i like the versus computer type when they entered the card... awesome story.

nice style, could use some shading though, oh and next time make the story loonger. hehehe, it kinda ruin the whole thing.
